Strains typing and traceability

Strain typing technology is based on microbial DNA fingerprinting and genomic DNA sequence analysis, which is a powerful tool for industrial enterprises to perform microbial identification at the strain level, molecular typing and traceability investigations in a rapid, accurate and high-resolution manner. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of regulations and guidelines in various industries, more and more industries have reflected the requirements of microorganisms at the strain level in the process of product declaration and government regulation. Distinguishing different strains of the same species plays an increasingly important role in the development of various industries. CICC has established an international leading microbial strain typing technology platform, including ribotyping, Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE), Randomly Amplified Polymorphism DNA (RAPD), Multi-Locus Sequence Typing (MLST), and Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), etc., which provides solutions for microbial traceability and strain typing technical problems.
