Focusing on the development and industrial requirements of functional microorganisms in food, feed, daily chemical and other industries, research on microbial breeding is carried out in the directions of macronutrients, nutritious supplements, fermentation functions, and probiotic benefits. Genetic improvement of microorganisms is achieved through mutagenesis and molecular breeding technologies. Based on synthetic biology, the strain screening platform and functional gene collections are constructed. Research on the genotype-phenotype correlation mechanism of strains is conducted to achieve targeted breeding and rational design of functional strains.
